Living in New York City is wonderful, but also has its restrictions and rules and regulations of where and how to move around in terms of space - freedom is limited. Sunlight is sparse.

I drew parallels to nature found in the city, which is always enclosed and restricted through planter boxes or otherwise.

But every now and then a free plant or seedling is found trying to escape the limitations of a strictly regulated megacity in order to function.

with thoughts on this project or how to further it.
