"The Framed Highline"
A particular spot on the Highline, 26th Street and 10th Avenue, which I pass on the way to the studio, became my favourite spot - What would appear in the frame today when turning the corner?
Over the course of one year I photographed the 'framed highline', creating this circular year-round piece of passing time.
An old advertising frame becomes a constant fixture, while time passes, with its seasons and weather changes, framing a particular scene or mood.
Visitors, tourists come and go.
The day of time make the frame stand out more, or the subject in the frame.
Some weather conditions are more intense and create certain moods.
